Top Gear season - Auto shows

Top Gear originally aired in 1977 as a factual magazine programme featuring an eclectic range of presenters, some of which now present the Channel 5 rival programme 'Fifth Gear'. In 2002 Top Gear was updated to be studio based whilst placing more of an emphasis on the program's unusual humour and the character traits of presenters James May, Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond. A popular feature of the show is the unique tests they perform on the models, such as the notorious Toyota Hilux episode. The trials varied from crashing the car into a tree to pummelling it with a wrecking ball. Top Gear is a must see for any true motoring fan.
